The Aglonema Leaf

I love indoor plants, this Aglonema has been with me for more than a year now.
The patterns on the leaves and the color combination is beautiful but at the same time its a fussy plant. It took me a while to understand its light and water needs.
This painting is of a drying Aglonema leaf. I felt that even when the leaf was dying it was so beautiful and graceful. I couldn't help but paint this transition from young leaf to an old and aging one.
